Hello, I am Officer Ulrich. In 2005 I was accepted into the Modesto Police Canine Unit. K9 Stryker is my third police dog. My prior dogs had medical issues and had to retire early. In early 2008 I was paired with Stryker. Stryker is a German Shepherd from the Czech Republic.  He was born in August of 2006.  He is a patrol canine and certified in May 2008.

K9 Stryker is a great dog. He has only had a short time with me on the streets and has performed beyond my expectations. He loves to find the bad guys and would search for them all day long if I'd let him. K9 Stryker and I are currently assigned to patrol. We currenlty have completed several Western States Police Canine Association sanctioned K9 Trials.
